A signal in the noise

Hi, I’m Marco from The Netherlands. Since the Tech Test 2 on April 30th, 2025, I’ve been absolutely hooked on ARC Raiders. The graphics, the gameplay, the sounds and soundtracks — everything is just amazing.
After watching hours of gameplay from other gamers, I knew right away that Embark Studios had something truly special in the making. This is shaping up to be the Game of the Year 2025, no doubt.
What really grabs me is the perfect blend of intense action and organic teamwork. I love playing solo, exploring the world on my own terms — and then teaming up with others when it really counts. The proximity chat makes it feel like you’re right there with your fellow Raiders, adapting and surviving together in the moment. It’s raw, immersive, and unlike anything I’ve played in a long time.
I’m also a big fan of Ghost Recon, especially Ghost Recon Wildlands, so the tactical teamwork and open-world exploration in ARC Raiders really speak to me. But even with that love, I can’t wait for the full release of ARC Raiders — it feels like a fresh and exciting new chapter in this genre.
But this isn’t my first adventure into building a community. Back in 2002, I launched a forum dedicated to my first big passion: music — specifically, Hardstyle. I also ran my own recording label, Screamer Hardstyle Recordings. What started as a personal project quickly grew into a global hub, with over 30,000 registered users from around the world. It was an amazing journey that taught me the power of online communities and how shared passion can bring people together across borders.
Now, more than two decades later, it's time for a new love and that’s ARC Raiders!
That’s exactly why I started this forum: to create a space where we can share our love for the game, talk about new discoveries, squad up for raids, and help each other grow. Whether you're a hardcore looter, a stealth tactician, or just someone looking to meet fellow survivors, you're welcome here. It’s free to use, open to all, and built by a fan, for the community.
Let’s make this journey unforgettable and bring the fight to the ARC — together.
Big shoutout to Embark Studios.
